These are some really useful commands for an ordinary
Windows user to make your day easier.
Basic Windows shortcuts :
1. Alt + F4 - Closes current window. Also shuts down the computer if no window is open/selected.
3. Ctrl+Esc - Open Start Menu
3. Alt+Tab - Shifts control to next window
4. Shift+Delete- Permanently Deletes file.

While browsing :
1. Ctrl+T - Opens new browser tab
2. Ctrl+Tab - Shifts control to next tab
3. Ctrl+Shift+Tab - Shifts control to previous tab

SpaceBar- Pauses movie (or even a video on youtube)
Right arrow key - Fast forwards video by 5 secs
Ctrl+Right Arrow Key - Fast forwards video by 30 secs
Scroll up (mouse wheel) - Increase Volume
Scroll Down (mouse wheel) -Decrease volume
